Towel-dry your hair thoroughly after shampoo and conditioning.
Tip your head upside down and brush from the nape to the front as you blow dry. Brushing with a soft paddle brush will add shine to the hair.
Drying this way means you are using the head like a large roller as you wrap the hair across the curve of the head. Continue until the hair is almost dry.
Section your hair into three or five manageable sections, depending on hair thickness and weight.
Begin drying at the nape. Keep a steady tension on the brush as you dry and make sure each section is dry before starting the next.
Avoid frizzies by ensuring that the hot air is always directed downwards, away from the scalp along the hair shaft.
For extra body, use a round brush placed near the root of the hair and move the brush upwards with the hair dryer following.
