Party, party, party can be fun, fun, fun but it can really mess with your hair. Heated styling, late nights and drinking sessions can wreak havoc with the natural balance of the moisture not only in your hair, but on your scalp.

Give you hair a break and try a month long hair detox by using a shampoo which is specifically designed for a dry scalp and dry hair. This will feed some moisture back into your tired and dry scalp, relieving it of any tightness and possible flakiness caused by toxic overload.

Try using a masque too once you've washed your hair. Leave this on for at least 5 to 10 minutes and wrap it in a towel to keep all the moisture in. When it comes to drying it, try and leave it to dry naturally and maybe finish it off with a light blow dry once most the water has gone out of it. This will reduce the amount of time you place heated appliances and stress on your hair.

Try to avoid using straightening irons for a month also. This will give your hair a chance to regain some of its own moisture again, leaving you with shinier, healthier hair again. Use a serum to flatten and smooth any split ends which may also have occurred through all those blow dries you had done.

Lastly, if you wash your hair every day, try to stretch it to every other day. This will give the natural oils from your scalp a chance to slide down the hair shaft, reviving the dry ends.
